1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve files, conduct official checks, or submit forms for a visitor.

Its content directs readers to Mason County custodians, Kentucky courts, Kentucky State Police, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No visitor may use site content or a linked tool to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against another person. Misuse may also be criminal. Kentucky State Police publishes registry information for public awareness, not vigilantism. KRS 525.070 and 525.080 address harassment and harassing communications, and Kentucky State Police warns that registry misuse can result in criminal penalties.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If a background check is needed for one of those purposes, use Kentucky State Police or an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General descriptions of Mason County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement rule applies to one person. A licensed Kentucky attorney can give that advice.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records can change as charges are filed, dismissed, sealed, or expunged. Updates may lag. No content here is an official statement from a court, sheriff, or other government agency.

We link to sheriff's office sites, court portals, state agency pages, legal aid organizations, and outside search services across this site. Clicking one of those links moves you off our platform and onto one we have no control over. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether their site stays online. Check their terms before using them.

8. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Mason County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, modify, or build on that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is not liable for damages arising from its use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, legal action, or demand that stems from how you used this site or from breaking these terms. That includes covering our legal fees and related costs.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms, including applicable provisions of KRS Chapter 367. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Kentucky.

These terms may be revised. A new version takes effect when it is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court rules that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stand. The problem section gets adjusted only as much as needed to make it work.
